This print is beautiful. It's a commonly depicted subject, but it is very special. The composition, tonal quality, and movement are exceptional and evocative. The piece is true to it's title... breathtaking!

I have wanted this for my pro life bulletin board at my Catholic Church and I wasn’t disappointed. It is beautiful and it has so much meaning put in a picture. A picture speaks better then words and this picture says it all. Thanks

Flying Tigers P-40B Warhawk
Charles 'Chuck' Older
Charles 'Chuck' Older served in both WWII and the Korean War. With a confirmed total of 18 enemy victories, Older was the third highest scoring ace of the American Volunteer Group (AVG) recruited by Claire Lee Chennault. Flying the P-40B Hawk Model H81-A2 (also known by the British designation - Tomahawk IIB) against the Japanese, the Flying Tigers used superior tactics to overwhelm their more maneuverable adversaries. The original Flying Tigers would lose only 14 pilots during combat missions in 1941-1942.
